The Northwest Michigan Horticultural Research Center is planning a 40th Anniversary Celebration for Friday, August 23, 2019 from 3:00PM – 9:30PM at the NWMHRC, located at 6686 S. Center Highway, Traverse City, MI 49684. This celebration will feature a live band, silent auction, grower contests, yard games, a social hour, dinner, and dancing!
We will kick off the afternoon with vendor booths, a dunk tank and yard games at 3:00 PM. From there, we will start “grower contests.” These events will be followed by dinner, a historical account of the NWMHRC, an inspiring speech from an Ironman competitor, awards, and live music to get your feet tapping!
We are also excited to raffle off a weed sprayer, donated by Gillison’s Variety Fabrication, Inc!
This event, including dinner and attendance, is free of charge, thanks to our generous sponsors!
