MWC New Board Members
At our 2019 MWC Annual Meeting the organization voted on our Southeast Michigan Winery, Tourism, and Southwest Michigan Grower seats. Bob Utter of Flying Otter Winerywill be taking over the Southeast Michigan seat, Ed Peabody of HOUR Detroitwill assume the Tourism seat, and Todd Robbins of Glenn Vineyards is our new Southwest Grower board member. Lee Lutes (NW Winery), Tom Petzold (NW Grower), and Jay Briggs (NW Winery) were also re-elected to remain in their Michigan Wine Collaborative board seats. Entry forms for the 2019 Michigan Wine Competition should have been returned by July 5th for participation. Please email uswith any questions or concerns.
Revamped Restaurant Motivation Cards
These iconic Michigan Grape & Wine Council Restaurant cards have recently been given a make over. We ask that these cards be left behind at your favorite restaurants to encourage more Michigan wine on wine lists across our state and beyond. We are also hoping to grow our restaurant members so we can collaborate more with the on premise industry. If you would like to be sent some of the cards E-mail Us or visit our online store.
