The International Food, Wine & Travel Writers Association (IFWTWA) is a not-for-profit global network
of writers, authors, bloggers, freelancers, editors, radio and television hosts, photojournalists,
podcasters, and videographers who report on the travel, culinary, beverage, and hospitality fields.
Michigan Wine Collaborative (MWC) teamed up with IFWTWA for a Michigan wine webinar featuring wines from Rove Estate and St. Julian Winery. MWC Executive Director, Emily Dockery, joined Rove Estate owner, Mckenzie Gallagher and Tasting Room Manager, Heather Durham-Birley of Rove Estate and Assistant Winemaker and Vice President of Sales, Apollo Braganini from St. Julian. During this webinar MWC provided history on the Michigan wine industry as well as economic impact, growing stats, wine trail info, and more! Following the Michigan wine lesson, participating wine writers shared initial takeaways of the wines sent by Rove and St. Julian. Overall the webinar went amazingly with astounding reviews of the wines, the winemakers, the growers, and the industry at large. MWC thanks all of you for all you do to keep this industry growing!
