Leelanau County, MI (May 17th, 2021): The Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail is pleased to announce their upcoming three day event, Sip & Savor, from Friday, June 4 through Sunday, June 6.
Kick your summer off right with Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail’s Sip & Savor trail-wide event. Sip & Savor combines some of the region’s most incredible and uniquely crafted wines, each hand-selected by the makers themselves, paired along with locally sourced cuisine. For an advance ticket purchase price of $45, ticket holders can enjoy a 2.5oz wine pour and a food pairing from each of the participating wineries, and an event-themed souvenir glass. The estimated ticket value is $300.
While each ticket holder can travel along the peninsula at their leisure, reservations are highly encouraged to get the most out of the experience, especially if you would like to enjoy additional offerings at particular wineries, such as wine by the glass. For this event, the trail’s wineries offer a wide variety of wine and ciders made with local varietals, such as Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, and American Sweet & Bittersweet Cider Apples. Food pairings include cheeses and cherry chicken salad to chocolate and strawberry rhubarb compote.
